Unusually dark in colour for my work, this piece was inspired by the depth of colour discovered in another recent work. What evolved is a beautiful contrast where there is a luscious richness dancing with beautiful colours of blooms that feel so close…as if they are moving off the canvas toward you as a tangible element you can almost grasp.
