Materials: acrylic, ink and pigment on canvas, framed in oak.
Inspired by the raw beauty of the Australian landscape. “Midnight Storm” captures a memory of late night summer storms when the lightning splits the dark and then disappears.
Rich in texture with layered tones of plum, rust and muted rose there’s a tension in this piece that requires investigation.
